Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 13, 2026

OunceNest is developed by Pedro Silva, operating as plainworks. This policy explains how OunceNest handles your data.

Local-first storage

OunceNest stores your milk stash inventory, pump sessions, storage locations, settings, notes, and unlock state on your device. No account is required for the core product.

Stash data

Your bag amounts, pump session details, baby nickname, notes, and storage records are not sent to plainworks by default. If you delete the app, locally stored app data is deleted from that device unless you previously exported it.

Import and export

If you import CSV or notes, the imported data is processed on your device. If you export CSV, you choose where to save or share that file.

Purchases

OunceNest uses Apple's StoreKit for the lifetime unlock. Purchases are processed by Apple. OunceNest receives entitlement status from Apple so the app can unlock paid features.

Analytics and diagnostics

OunceNest may collect limited product analytics and diagnostics to understand whether core flows work and to diagnose crashes. These events avoid milk amounts, baby names, notes, bag labels, exact dates, and exported/imported file contents.

Support emails

If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to include in your email.

No ads

OunceNest does not show ads and does not sell your personal information.

Children's privacy

OunceNest is intended for use by parents and caregivers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
